Prosport gauges - Anyone running them?

Hi, looking at updating the trie gauge cluster and possible adding gauges. Has anyone use their premium line of gauges? Offer a nice selection, price isn't too bad compared to AEM or Innovate.

Before you get too excited, please realize that the z does not have individual gauges. All three of the gauges that we have are all basically gauge faces in a single circuit board. It's not as simple as take it out/put it in

I've seen others on here replace them, but I've never done it myself.

I'm currently doing it with Defi gauges but I don't have a garage so it's slow work. If you do decide to go this route do yourself a huge favor and get in touch with member Scope22. He makes a bracket for this that will make your life infinitely easier

There js a guy on Facebook that I've been in touch with that makes a bracket and 3 cups to replace the cluster setup with. I know thats it not the easiest of tasks to do, Was more looking for feedback if anyone had used thjs line of gauges before.

The ones in the video were the one series I was looking at, the other is their premium without the halo.

Cool, just wasn't sure if you're aware.

I used STRI's DSD SLM gauges they were fantastic. You can get them in a blacked out face with an amber color that likely looks factory, and they have the startup ceremony like factory. They also have a shallow mounting depth, which is always helpful.

Quick search of what they look like (not my vid)

They're basically Defi replicas. I ended up with STRI over Prosport after friends having issues with Prosports. They had zero issues for literally a decade.

I used those on my old motorcycle and I really liked them. I had a Voltmeter, Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature and Vacuum gauges. They worked well until the mice got to the wiring below the gas tank...:)

Wow they do look a lot like the Defis. I wonder how close/accurate the internals are (stepper motor etc...)

I currently run the prosport JDM 52mm with digital and analog readout. It's a relatively simple install but it involved courage on the level of getting shot and pulling the bullet out on your own then stitching yourself up and your only tools are a bottle of vodka and a Gerber multi tool. This is because I gutted the OEM guages out from the top instead of removing the dash.
Here's a video of the 60mm JDMs I had before. The 52's fit the OEM bezel alot better and I decided to swap back. I've gone through the Tanabe VLS, ProSport Halo and Prosport premiums and the JDMs were where I stuck.

52s install much better because they fit perfectly in the bezel.

I'm the same guy, DTS3 is the only person so far that has my brackets, maybe he has some input on installation process if he has gotten far enough.
