Trunk Closed and Actuator Removed! Please Help!

There is a pull cord to open the hatch ..you will have to pull the carpet up and it is in the spare tire area driver side ....I did something

There is a pull cord to open the hatch ..you will have to pull the carpet up and it is in the spare tire area driver side ....I did something similar....it was very hard to pull..but it opened mine ..which is a 2017 as well
