My garage is already full, so my Z sits outside (and daily driven), but I haven't really been too concerned about it. I went over the connectors with dielectric grease, even though they were weather tight connectors. Some of the exposed bolts I removed and added some "water proof" grease as anti seize. Over all the only problem I've noticed is the longer rivets were not entirely stainless, the center was regular mild steel and rusted. Ive since filled the center of the rivets with silicone to seal them, but unfortunately it caused some rust discoloration around a couple rivets.

The only time I install my rain shields is when I wash the Z, or I know if it's going to be raining. The shields still let air flow. But not as much.

The Track Spec Motorsport hood vents are a proven modification that works and I give them a lot of credit for coming out with them and manufacturing them for our vehicles. Engine water and oil temperatures will drop about 10F-15F while street driving and at least 15F-20F on the track. You will feel the heat pouring out of them when you are at stop. Thank you Rusty for helping the Z community with the water/rain shields rep for you. :tiphat: Even with the water/rain shields installed you will see an improvement on the street or track. Also the current market price on sheet aluminum is not cheap.

Thought that was your hood for a minute or so. Then I seen the leather motorcycle jacket hanging up, and the target on the garage door. :rofl2:

Nope, my leathers were Blue, Black & White Zuki gear and I would never paint my car Gun Metallic :p. Now days all I have are cruizers so just a Hi-way 21 Gunner Jacket hangs in the garage. Getting old sucks, but it beats the alterantive.

Nope I'm going to leave the Naca ducts, besides I almost never drive the thing. Too many vehicles not enough time or butts

Try this. Motorhome, PowerWagon, Grand Cherokee, VFR, and the Z. Pick one?

It's Gun Metallic, not Charcoal. :shakes head:

My leathers are a 2 piece Alpinestars, Shoei X11 helmet, Held gloves, and Alpinestar touring boots.

Maybe in Europe front means rear, kind of like they drive on the wrong side of the road. :rofl2:
