Is that actually fabricated or photoshop of what it could look like?

cooltoy 11-06-2017 12:50 PM

Ya, I went to Hotrodz house and fabricated them while he was at work. It was a bit of a drive.

Next question is are you place it after the radiator or on top of the timing cover?

Hopefully the side vents end up over that air gap to the sides of the engine and help reduce pressure and extract hot air from that area.
Dying to see the parts installed. I didn't find any pics on the company's intagram for the Z.

What DarkJak said and yes the hood vent leading edge should be just about 13" to 15" from the front the hood which would place it just beyond the radiator. That is if you trust my measurements. I actually took measurements from Fugi hood vents and the placement of the radiator from the front of the hood.

Hey you disfunctional unit. :rofl2: After you get home from your ball game. Flip the vents over so the the center bar is down. Position the middle vent with the small side in the front. Think the small vents need to be swapped side the side. The left on the right and right on the left. See how that looks. From looking at the new pictures. You have them up side down and asss backwards. :tiphat:

I mean we have the vents now, and they are three separate pieces so if you don't like the placement of them where Eagle ends up installing them and you think you know a better place that would keep the heat out. Then you can always place them wherever you want they are vents after all and your hood isn't cut out in any exact spots for them yet so I especially like the creativity aspect of this project. I expect to see these vents in various spots some for looks and others for function but at the end of the day its what makes you happy

DeliriousClam 11-07-2017 07:47 AM

Oh **** I missed a lot

Chuck33079 11-07-2017 08:03 AM

I've got my credit card in hand waiting on the installed pics. This looks great so far.

And to the (possibly mentally deficient) gentleman who suggested that this was vaporware and no one would ever see these things, how do you like them apples?
