From what I took away from a message, expect about a month before you have them.

For anyone still looking to get in on the group buy, there is still time. There was a problem with the product page yesterday, but it's fixed now.

Yeah! I'm all signed up, fuel basket is fixed. I'll still fuel starve but at least the car will run and I'll be running the new vents. How bout you?

No I can't make it this weekend but I am planning on Saturday at Auto Club, Sunday I will be with the Fast Intentions crew at Motor4toys. Hard parked and showing off lol!

Hey I the Z1 antifuel starve kit and it works as advertised. You might think about a black Friday gift for the Z.

Sorry I have to back out on this deal. My daily was just killed and I have to find a new one. My 2013muztang GT was killed by an older lady she ran a red light at 50mph and KILLED my daily. Luckily no major injuries to anyone involved.

Glad you are OK!!!! Looks like plenty of people flooding in to take your place =)

Hope the insurance cuts you a nice check! What are you going to get for the next daily?

wideglideleon 11-17-2017 11:52 AM

Not sure looking for newer 2015 or newer Mustang GT to replace it.

Sorry to hear that brother and it's completely understood that you need every penny right now, glad you're ok though. I wish you luck on finding a new daily, so glad she didn't hit you while you were driving the Z.

Eagle, do you know when they are going to start shipping them? Because I'm leaving for a cruise on 12/7 and be back home on 12/18. Would like to have it before I go. If you know what I mean.

Is this a DIY project or more for a body shop?
Would love to see a video of the process.

Rusty 11-21-2017 09:19 PM

It can be a DIY. Just take your time. I'm doing mine.

Hey Rusty, I'll have to ask but assuming the order went out this week for the batch...it should be 2-3 weeks

That came out really nice Bob! I'd almost argue that it looks better on brilliant silver than it does on solid red...that's like sacrilege but, damn!

carlitos_370z 11-22-2017 05:09 AM

I like it a lot

Kzonts 11-22-2017 08:36 AM

Those vents on the silver look awesome!

It is a diy job...I am incredibly mechanically challenged lol. The guy that did the install said it was a piece of cake and that John's instructions were spot on easy to follow.

The black on the silver really pops. I agree it looks awesome on the red as well. You just need a front splitter to set it off even more. :stirthepot:

AlWakRa 11-22-2017 09:18 AM

Looks great Bob, with Nismo fascia and the splitter, it compliment the look, although I pulled the trigger, I am still thinking it will look weird on stock car :rofl2: but I need it for the track

Any ideas yet on how much cooler Zs are running now with the new inserts as opposed to stock? I'm TTed and this is very interesting as my temps have risen a bit since going FI.
Is there an option available for rain protection? I like the looks of them and think they would look and work good on my black Z.

Compared to a non-vented hood, you should see like a 20 degree drop. Compared to a cosmetic hood with vents like a Seibon TS or a VIS Terminator...my expectation is that it'll drop 10-15 degrees.

My car is NA, I was at Chuckwalla this Sunday and my oil temps never went above 240. Normally I'm up in the 260's, I hit limp mode at SOW in October with a 34 row oil cooler installed. So I think the vents are working pretty well.
