I've seen so many pics of your car and didn't realize that was the same hood  I guess I was always drawn to the bumper vents. How well does it work at venting heat? What about fitment?

The fitment is spot on as with most JDM aftermarket hood. Me and my brother installed and it went just the same as the oem. The gaps are tight and never had an issue with alignment. The vents are highly functional and will remove heat very well. I had to added the bumper vents to get more airflow in as I still had issues with overheating. Since adding the bumper vents I have had no issues when temperatures have reached 95* plus.

Thanks!

Thanks for the review. If the hood vents don't work out I might go this route.

Bob, do you have a link to your bumper vents and your brake duct vents?

No problem the other thing I forgot to mention is that hood has rain gutters so even in a heavy rain or just washing the car no water gets to the engine bay. The hood is very functional as well as stylish!

Yeah, that is definitely a plus. It is a good looking hood.

Both ducts are APR Performance and I used their NACA ducts mated to Stillen brake ducts system. I purchase the APR air duct 9.25 x 4.75 to vent the upper portion of the bumper. This really did not work out as the duct was to long and so the only portion of the duct that was used is what you see in the picture lol. It make a great frame for the hole in the bumper and provides for a place to hold the wire mesh. I would come up with a different frame as the ducts go for $81 a piece on Amazon which is the cheapest place to get them. The actual size of the vents on the upper bumper are 7.5" x 4".

"Please" keep the off topic clutter out of the Tech Section.

Your fellow members as well as me would appreciate it.

Well, we had to do something while waiting and waiting for these to be revealed.

Well i'd say its past the end of last week and the beginning of this week. You can't just tell them to snap a quick pic of the vents even if they're not on the car? I just wanna know what they'd look like lol
