*DRL Help* OEM

I installed my intake yesterday and had to undo thebattery and DRL lights. Here's what happens, initial start up theydont come on like they used to. After about 3 minutes

Default *DRL Help* OEM

I installed my intake yesterday and had to undo thebattery and DRL lights.

Here's what happens, initial start up theydont come on like they used to. After about 3 minutes they come on. This delay didn't happen before.

Anyone else have this issue?

They should come on immediately when you put it in gear.

Well mine do not come one right away on start up. They come on once i release the parking brake. Have you tried a hard reset as in disconnecting the battery for like 10 seconds again?

Interesting. Subbed to see what y'all figure out.

First thing I'd do is download the FSM (link in my sig) and see if there is something programmed to delay DRL turn-on (eg, parking brake position as nick654 mentioned). A cheap VOM and the FSM schematics should be all you need.

My wild guess is that you knocked a connector loose or broke a wire while doing the intake R&R.

Nissan is fixing Monday they said it sounds like the reset triggered a delay. They were gently removed and both clicked in so nothing was damaged.
