Have you done any on the 2013-14 cars?

If so how do the day time running lights look with with the IRON MAN modded headlights? How is the match in light colour and brightness?

Thank you.

I've done some but I don't have pics! But I remember them flowing well together, color being about 5000K for both

cooltoy 01-31-2014 07:21 PM

Any iron man?

Weather was finally reasonable enough (for 1 day) to get a couple cell phone shots.

It's the same headlight. Most of our orders are mail in so I don't even get to see the car

cooltoy 02-03-2014 05:16 PM

Obviously it's the same headlight. I just was curios how the match is with new daytime running lights. I understand that you don't see often the cars. No problem. on the off-chance you did, it was worth a shot. Thanks you.

shika805 02-06-2014 12:14 AM

any photos of headlights done a 40th Z? i've only seen a few done here, not enough for me to pull the trigger?

I had oneighty put an orb in my headlights, the color match from the orb matches the running lights in the front bumper very well. I would definitely recommend it. I can try and post a pic tonight if you would like.

cooltoy 02-14-2014 11:25 AM

Thanks.

But here is one without flash and one with. These are also just taken with my phone.

cooltoy 02-14-2014 08:31 PM

Looks like a good match. Thanks again.

Reped.

DOM_370z 02-14-2014 10:00 PM

I'll be having my headlights done by the Oneighty team! Since I live in brooklyn - they'll be able to report how well they match w the DRL. Stay tuned.

cooltoy 02-14-2014 11:10 PM

I shall.

Are you able to send the completed product and having the customer send the stock headlights upon arrival?

No sorry we can't do core exchanges, this is due to people having different year and condition headlights.

zilverbullet 07-14-2014 07:45 PM

My apologies for not reading all 18 pages of this thread, but I do have a few questions.

Are the bulbs the same as stock?

Do they still make the road as visible at night time?

I assume you can get whatever colors you want for the running lights / bulb itself?

Thanks in advance

mfeinst 07-18-2014 07:32 PM

Same bulbs. No visibility change. Only white and amber are street legal.

You can't get a different color K for the bulbs? :(

gcfisher 07-23-2014 10:17 PM

Realize this is a response to an older response and this is an evolved thread. That said, I have the same question about headlight projection as I'm interested in the same upgrade; my understanding of the benefit of the chrome is that not only the chrome finish but also the shape of the headlight housing unit are factors that play a large part in the way that our headlights are perform.

Has anyone experienced a deterioration in visibility while driving in low lit areas?

180 offers a fantastic looking product with proven satisfaction and plenty of options. I would like to make an order soon.

Thanks all. Cheers.

We do not touch the HID bulbs, most aftermarket do not work well with the OEM ballasts. All the LEDs are hooked up to the parking lights, so they are turned on with the OEM switch, plug-n-play

Any reduction in visibility is not at all noticeable.

I was unable to discern any deterioration in visibility in mine with satin black to replace the chrome.

You will spend a ton of $$$ on shipping maybe consider buying used head lights here in U.S. Then shipping them to one eighty then to you. I think will cost about the same if you ship your lights from Australia and back
