This was a mod I've wanted to do since I got my car back in November of 2011. I am so glad to say it's finally done, and WOW, it looks SO much better. Unbelievable really how much better it looks. Thanks to the crew at 180 Customs for doing such a nice job and doing it very quickly to boot.

I just wanted to remove the chrome "bling", and make the car look a bit meaner. I wasn't looking to "add", but subtract, and by subtracting, it looks so much more. So my mod is basically the minimum you can do.

Chrome housing = painted matte black
Light Rings = stock silver, nothing done
Orange reflector = painted gloss black

The only killer was the fright, although I probably over packed them. But freight was about $72 each way, or $144 total.

All in all it was a lot of work but it was totally worth it. Thanks 180 Customs!!!

I'm sure you'll need to buy JDM lights as US have different light cutoffs to Australia (LHD vs RHD). You will probably blind oncoming traffic by using USDM lights.

Didn't want to start a new thread on something so overly worked but I wasn't able to find anything similar. Has anyone done amber LEDs like the old 08 Z?
I was curious to see three options, full amber led strip / bottom 3/4 LEDs / or top 3/4 only led.
Anybody have anything similar?

kinda old, but Bonzo, how is the cut off lighting at night? Is is any difference? You wouldn't have any pics of night time shots facing a wall would you?

I'm interested in doing this, but I'm worried that the lighting output will be either dimmer than stock, or crazy illegally bright with poor cut off.

He just painted his housings, why would the light output be any different? All the light comes from the projectors which were not modified

Quick question for 180. What's the turn around time on average once you receive a set of headlights?

Makes sense. I thought he also modified the landing strip area at first glance. I'd like to do business with you in the future, and the reason I asked was because I was worried that by modifying anything headlight related, I'll be blinding people like those with drop in HID kits on their civics. NOT something I want to do with my car. Thanks.

Those are due to people not properly installing/aligning parts.

It depends on what mods you choose, some take longer than others to do. But on average, we need your headlights for 3-4 business days and then ship back to you.

If you make a drive-in appointment, it takes only about 4 hours because I'll have everything painted and ready before you arrive. Once you come in, we will take off the bumper, headlights, open them up, swap the inside housings, wire everything in and seal it back up.

We don't keep new headlights in stock, but it takes us only about 2 days to get them in. So depending how busy we are, I'll need 2-4 days to complete them from the day of the order.

If it's an appointment, I usually have at least a week to prepare everything for that day.

That's awesome. Once ordered, there wouldn't be a rush. :icon17:
