Default window problem

First off, I've searched and read the threads on resetting the windows when they won't auto close. That isn't the problem but I tried it just to make sure. My drivers window does not drop the 1/8 inch or so that it should when the door is opened. Passenger side works fine and the window operates normally otherwise. I have a roadster and the window is catching the top and not sealing properly. It is under warranty so I dropped it off for service. Diagnosed as bad window motor. Motor changed out and problem still exists. Re-diagnosed as a control module, changed and still have problem. 3 days later and consulting NISSAN tech the dealer still has no solution. I thought some of you tech gurus might have an answer. Thanks
