Got my new Wing from Battle_aero, it's the new V3 Chassis Wing. I absolutely love it.

Hmmm... to each their own. I'm not a fan of a chassis-mounted GT wings on otherwise stock-body cars; not to mention it sits taller than the roof line when even on the LBW and RWB cars they're at, or slightly below. It just doesn't flow at all.

Buuuut, that's just my opinion. You love it and that is all that matters ;)

Was V1 and 2 not big enough? ;)

Yup, stock body kills it. At minimum a lip kit and aggressive wheels to complete the look, like Nizmo Nick, and he has air suspension

Cf Lip kit in 4 weeks from fly1 , coilovers next week. It looks better in person I promise lol .also Cf hood and fenders on the way

I've seen the installs in these and they look like a pain, esp cutting the bumper accurately

Just need some decales on the sides now to be full rice. Have you ever even been on track?

It only looks right on widebody cars... it's too big aesthetically for stock body.

You need a big *** for a big *** wing. You gonna have to tether your car when parked just in case the wind picks up! :eek:

********. This style of wing CAN work if the rest of the car matches it. There are very few looks that can never work when executed.

For example, Bullit's car is ******* 1000hp widebody. A bigass wing like that works just fine on his ride.

When a GT wing goes on a stock body car, on springs, conservative wheel set up, then yeah it looks stupid. Seems like OP knows this and build is in progress. I'll reserve further judgment to see a more finished product.


There's plenty of people with more conservative setups that also work.

Its not necessarily the wing or any one component, its about total package and whether it flows.

Madeinjapan, however, is an example of piss.

Go wide body, aggressive, deep dish wheels and it will all come together. Enjoy your ride...

Like everyone said, the overall look is now very....lopsided.

But the wing itself is cool for what it is, as well as executing the install. Big *** (we have to censor that word?) wing dude.

Would look better with a widebody from Fly1 or Tommy Kiara. It's best to get your aero package hooked up in one-shot, even if you have to save up and wait to get all the pieces.

Don't let the haters and trolls discourage you. It's your car and you should build it for yourself first and foremost--always.

I respect everyone's opinion good or not good, I'm gonna stance it with coils and deep dish wheels not sure with 19's or 20's will look best plus adding the Cf is a plus I think. If that doesn't work i can always go back to the duckbill wing

You did a nice job on cutting the slots from what I can see. That is however, a LOT of wing!

Jerry, you have the right attitude about your build and you gotta have some thick skin if you play in these parts. You caught some flack because people had no idea of your plans. Most the enthusiasts on the forum have no problem with others builds regardless of their intent to hard park it or track it as long as you don't disrespect the car and its following. I would apply the 80/20 rule, as 80% will agree and 20% will not. :p

Wheels and a wrap or paint and ur set

Jerry is that a fly1 hood?

I might get 20's either Volk ultras matte black or AG wheels copper, I might wrap it not paint.

Yes that's a fly1 hood it's the AMS-GT hood
