Aerojackrt/fly1 duck bill rep spolier

Anybody have this?

370z Coupe Texas Drifter Spoiler (2009+)

I wanna get the fly1 spoiler but I'm not sure how I feel about spending $600+ on a spoiler. Yes I know, quality blah blah, but for 200 bucks I don't think you can go wrong

lol

its so cheap what could go wrong

so naive

so helpless

famous last words

guess you dont give a **** about fitment or realize that paying to fix a shittty fitting part will cost you more than you "save"

i thought that mentality was basically just the Honda scene but i'm sadly seeing it all over this forum

which is a shame since the Z isn't even a cheap car

that said, don't Fly1/Aerojacket source their stuff from the same factory? maybe you found the magical retailer that sells it for far cheaper

cooltoy 10-05-2016 05:45 PM

Never heard of DAR. Be the first.

Honestly money ain't a problem for me. I just don't see the point in paying something far more expensive for 3x the price. Hey if it goes to **** then fine I'll go with the fly1. Won't hurt to try and experiment, like who knows maybe it'll be just as good. And yes I came from the Honda scene

Djvalerio921 10-05-2016 06:07 PM

Yea yea do it right the first time, but like I said. Who knows, it might be the same thing as the fly1 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Try it out and report it to this forum. If DAR makes their own product and sell at $200, they are not making much off of it. There is not a lot to be made when you retail a spoiler at $200. It is crazy pricing and seriously undercuts Fly1. Also, there are differences in manufacturing technique and quality of the material used. If DAR invested in sculpting and shaving clay and foam for their own duckbill and then made their own mold then fitment will be better when compared to a mold taken off of a FLY1 or AeroJacket spoiler........ and I further question the $200 pricing. It is highly doubtful that DAR's wing is sourced from the same company that makes it for Fly1 out here from CA as implied above because of the cost and the very small margin.

In any case, please take the plunge and give us a review. Like you said it is cheap but will be hard for you to resell it in this forum if it is seen back on the parts marketplace right away. You can dump it in Facebook where there are many who are clueless about the simple things with their Z's. I just read how someone truly believed that plugging the key fob in the fobgina will keep the fob charged up and another one wondering and unsure if the car battery needs to be replaced since the key fob no longer unlocks the car.

They photoshopped their brand name on the license plate

It just means "no".

sunkist350z 10-05-2016 11:00 PM

ewwwww..please don't looks like a duck opening its mouth on the z...just ruins the sexy rear end of the z.

Are you commenting on this particular wing, or any duckbill wing?

If that is the case, that opinion had nothing to do with the question asked.

Thus a useless post.
