veilside Carbon390 lip

So what do you guys think? I think it looks pretty simple and clean. Looks very different from their 350z lip which was very popular. I'm sure there will be more info at the tokyo auto salon in Jan. Hopefully cwest shows something. Best of all, the price is $390 for a carbon fiber lip instead of the $1000 plus companies have been charging.

SpawnAeroJohn 11-18-2009 01:54 AM

Veilside for $390?! Great price!

batman_4 11-18-2009 02:09 AM

where did you hear $390? lip looks good.

molamann 11-18-2009 02:29 AM

$390... has to be a typo. :D

Asi 11-18-2009 06:02 AM

just check the main site its 390$ per lip VeilSide USA

simota1 11-18-2009 06:04 AM

man that sounds like a great deal but that sounds a lil TOO cheap for veilside...

RedComet 11-18-2009 06:05 AM

Interesting to say the least.

LiquidZ 11-18-2009 06:35 AM

Nice

Lol I never herd anybody say that’s too cheap. A little bit of luck will guide Veilside here and then the price will change to $590. Haha.

If so we know who to blame :P

Haha just kidding.

simota1 11-18-2009 09:49 AM

hahahah i was jus saying spawn ahah ;) but if it shoots up lol o man ill have a walk of shame to the bank cuz i gotta add more cash cuz the price went up...

phelan 11-18-2009 10:56 AM

i refuse to believe a veilside component will be $390.

...but if it's true, i found my lip!

kenchan 11-18-2009 01:56 PM

at first glance i thought i was looking at aluminum foil...

EVOR 11-18-2009 08:01 PM

Veilside does it again. I like the way the lip does not wrap the bumper so far up. But still prefer veilside's old design on 370Z. That would rock.

nogoodname 11-18-2009 08:05 PM

looks more like a splitter.... not bad

SpawnAeroJohn 11-18-2009 09:05 PM

Since everybody is complaining about the lip being so cheap why not I or EvoR make a replica one and charge $200 more?

Haha just kidding.

But seriously its a great spoiler at a great price and we all know Veilside is pretty much at the top.

dainedazz 01-08-2010 06:32 PM

i like what i see :D

azn370z 01-08-2010 06:46 PM

Veilside most likely will show the lip next week.

Now that I have my 370z I'm ready for a lip. The 370z bumper needs a lip to complete the look. Varis, veilside, jp are the lips I'm looking forward to seeing the real production version.

Zeester 01-23-2010 03:48 AM

Any updates or new pics of this lip ? Im anxiously waiting...

simota1 01-23-2010 06:31 AM

:iagree:

Snakebite202 01-23-2010 09:52 AM

That is actually a normal Veilside price (except the FRP verision is normally at the 300 dollar price range). The V1 350z FRP lip is $340 and the CF cersion is $520.

:iagree: Def like this one. Curious on the final price tho.

azn370z 01-23-2010 07:07 PM

The final price has already been set. I emailed veilside about the lip but got no reply back. Supposedly the lip was pretty much done a month or two ago.

This is what he said.

Well, I think we did great on the Z33 lips, so this one was built in the same mindset. I don't have an exact ETA on it, but it shouldn't be TOO long. The hard part is done, now it just needs to be produced.
Of course, I will fill you guys in on any updates for it.

Oh ok, nice! Thanks for the heads up :tiphat:

dainedazz 01-26-2010 07:46 AM

In for updates

SigPapa226 01-26-2010 08:00 AM

I think I like it.

DIGItonium 01-26-2010 08:35 AM

Looks good, but I think it juts out too far. I'm going to destroy this one as well :(

arcticreaver 02-08-2010 03:08 PM

i'm looking for veilside as well. i'm really thinking about dropping down the dollars for the front lip and side skirts.

arcticreaver 02-08-2010 03:46 PM

and just to get ya'll an idea of what i'm talking about -

NYBladeZ 02-08-2010 03:50 PM

Nice but if you're going to throw down for a whole new front end I'd go with the Amuse kit

azn370z 02-08-2010 04:08 PM

The bumper isn't too bad much better than their z33 version. But zele and amuse has better looking kits.

iceman21_23 02-08-2010 04:33 PM

brian @ veilside said there aren't any updates about the lip i messaged him like 2 weeks ago, im waiting for this lip or im gonna pick up the lip from shineauto

+1 ... we def. need an update on this lip! This seems to be the only "simple" looking lip in development right now and I really want to see the finished piece.

Csquared 04-23-2010 09:07 PM

I second for an Update!

crbn_fbr 05-23-2010 12:05 AM

The wait for this is killing me! I need a lip!
