Rocket bunny we have been neglected !!!

So,

I am one of the biggest Rockt Bunny aero / body kit fans out there! I love the way they look and quality is top notch.

That being said why does Rock Bunny neglect us? Why is there kits for the 350z, GTR, FRS/BRZ, RX7 but nothing for the 370z? If they actually made a kit for the 370z.. I would Probly be the first one to pick one up..

Please share your thoughts on this..

bflo370z 04-19-2016 05:03 PM

I'm right there with you. I love how they look on every car they offer a kit for. I really hope they come out with one for our platform. I would strongly consider buying one if one was available for the 370z.

EVOHUNTER 04-19-2016 05:34 PM

Now that the 370z is all over formula drift, give it a year, they'll make one.

Breadz 04-19-2016 05:38 PM

I'd buy it. :iagree::iagree:

God, I hope your right!!

Mitco39 04-19-2016 06:15 PM

I do like them, but there is nothing worse than a guy who tries to install it himself and it just ruins the car, there are a few brzs/frs around this way that are like that.

But yes a clean nice looking body kit looks great. I think the reason you dont see them is that our car has great lines to begin with, atleast in the rear. Anytime I saw a body kit on the 370Z that addresses the rear it almost looks like "to much" so to speak.

I only find myself saying id want a body kit like that after seeing one on lets say an FD, but I just dont know how well it would be on a 370Z, I am not sure if it would have that "I gotta have it" feeling with me. That said I will just have to wait to see if/when something like that is released.

Yes and no, at least it's not all cambered out...

Mitco39 04-20-2016 08:21 AM

No it's not a rb but what would you do differently over the back wheels? It follows the general look of the rb. Imo

I have actually thought about selling my 370z and down grading to a 350z so I can have the RocketBunny kit... But my only fear and my luck would be that they would make a kit for the 370z as soon as I sold my 370z....:icon14:

why not just go widebody? it looks cleaner than those bolt on hack jobs

Wonka2581 04-20-2016 08:34 PM

Look, all I'm saying I personally think a 350 with a rocket bunny kit looks better then a stock 370... Or even a 370with an amuse kit..

Now before you all freak out.. I personally think that the amuse kit is starting to get a bit dated. And everyone seems to be running them.. All I really want something diffrent for the 370z (you know a refresh) and I believe the rocket bunny kit is the answer..

Not a Rocketbunny, but something I'm working on. Amuse front and rear bumpers, Aimgain rear overfenders and custom wide front fenders.

I would love to see RB or liberty Walk do a kit though. The Niko (fly1) and Moonbeam (carbon signal) Just aren't my style.

Those rear fenders are going to turn out quit a bit better than I anticipated when I saw the release. I debated gettin them and then backed out do to the fact Im tired of waiting for jdm parts. Good job for committing to it. Now....if u decided they don't fit right mine is stripped and ready to have them installed so I can take them off your hands :inoutroflpuke:
Look forward to seeing the process and wish I had pulled the trigger to grab a set for the rear myself

Yeah the wait was definatley tough. I order the kit in August 2015 and received in late February 2016... 6.5 months. That being said the quality of their work is second to none, this fiberglass is like butter. Ive owned some pieces from the "other" kits and the craftsmanship and quality was really lacking. I honestly believe these rear overfenders flow best with the OEM lines of the car which has another huge plus.

HAHA, my fenders are cut... no going back now.

Agreed. Rocket bunny looks like some 10 y/o with styrene plastic sheets decided to woodscrew the panels to their parents car.

Carbon Fiber Element 05-01-2016 10:58 PM

Real widebodies are not bolt on flares. That's all these "widebodies" are nowadays. Screw the flares on and call it a widebody. There is nothing custom about that. Its terrible what the show scene had come to. I cant wait for this fad to end. If youre going to do the flare thing at least take the time and put in the work to mold it to the car and make it a kinda real widebody. Not just screw it on. smh

OptionZero 05-01-2016 11:13 PM

It's a different take on it, if it's not your cup of tea, oh well?

Really?! So what's the difference if you take the OEM body and widen the profile by 5-6" either via metal fabrication, molded in fenders or bolt in fenders?

I mean do you prefer this? Cause this is absolutely hideous and keeps none of the OEM lines of the car.

FPenvy 05-06-2016 02:53 PM

between those two I think I'd prefer a gun in my mouth............just saying.

:shakes head:

Wiggins3377 05-06-2016 02:55 PM

I understand people not liking bolt on fenders so I'm not arguing with you there, but a wide body is a wide body.... Doesn't matter how it's done. You just sound like and idiot with your previous comment

well then my day just got interesting.

please elaborate on how I am an idiot based on a comment stating that 2 horrendous looking vehicles are in fact awful..........

I cant wait to hear this response.

I put $20 on the typical person with poor taste/stancer saying "everyone has their own taste" or "to each their own" oooooooor "you're just a hater"

which is it?

Wiggins3377 05-06-2016 03:04 PM

"God that looks awful ^. Seriously though there is nothing "widebody" about this bolt on flare bullsh1t"

How is a car that is wider than OEM not a widebody?

when did I ever discredit any of the above of not being a widebody kit based of the material it's made of or how it is fastened?

please take a moment and go back to check before you want to go to war with me son :tiphat:

regardless of what those god awful kits are made of they look like garbage. that is the fact I put in my statement.
