z1 hatch struts

i just got these and holes don't line up, are you supposed to turn them with a wrench to make them line up? seems that they would get scratched so

i just got these and holes don't line up, are you supposed to turn them with a wrench to make them line up? seems that they would get scratched so i dont want to do that...

Pics. Which holes? I installed mine without any issues.

Maybe you have the sides mixed up (left with right).

ok so z1 emailed me back and you have to use a screwdriver for these MHP ones to turn the head and i used a rubber mallet to gently tap them in, they go in easy if you align them perfectly, otherwise its hammer time.
