Op may want to see if he can borrow an actual one that works to see if it'll light up if the wiring is there. Kinda stupid for Nissan decided to put in dummy side markers but again they're already doing that with the dummy rear light. :shakes head: |
That are not that expensive. $50 for a pair on e-bay.

Wow,I am a little surprised Nissan would go to the trouble of making a separate side marker(no light) for the base and still have it wired in.I removed the fender badge on my 2016 base to see this......

I went the extra step and got a wiring kit that keeps the side fender lights on all the time(when headlight are on).Didn't really like it at first as it was a little bright and distracting,so I wired in a resistor to tone the brightness down and I think I will leave it now.
