2016 Base Fender turn signals
 

Hi,
Just recently got a 2016 Base. I notice the fender turn signals doesnt light up when i signal. Do the base come with it? If not, would it be possible to hook one up?

I'd imagine that the connector is back behind it. It could just be a matter of just getting ones that are wired for it but I'm not entirely sure

I believe u need to push marker to the front of the car and pull right side towards you.

Both don't light up?

The new base models do not have indicating Zs and base autos don't come with paddles

i saw an earlier 370z today and it had the darkened butt plug. :shakes head:

Ohh i see. Would it be hard to connect it?

Does anyone know if a newer base has the connector in behind ready to go??

Even if it's not, it is probably the same marker as the sport, so all you'd need is to run wires to it. But just in case Nissan was dumb enough to make a separate non electric side-marker, I am ready.

I just took off the Z side markers and it is wired. So I am guessing the Z indicators on the base dont have LEDs in it. So I would need to buy one that has

Can't you just put a bulb in? Are the wires connected to anything or are they just loose?

They're led lights so no actual bulbs to change out. :|

Op may want to see if he can borrow an actual one that works to see if it'll light up if the wiring is there.

Kinda stupid for Nissan decided to put in dummy side markers but again they're already doing that with the dummy rear light. :shakes head:

That are not that expensive. $50 for a pair on e-bay.

It only uses a couple of leds to flash the whole side marker.

Wow,I am a little surprised Nissan would go to the trouble of making a separate side marker(no light) for the base and still have it wired in.I removed the fender badge on my 2016 base to see this......

Ebay. There are lots of them for sale there.

I went the extra step and got a wiring kit that keeps the side fender lights on all the time(when headlight are on).Didn't really like it at first as it was a little bright and distracting,so I wired in a resistor to tone the brightness down and I think I will leave it now.
