Default Heater/Climate diagnostic mode?

My heater is not working properly , the car is at normal running temperature, midway on the coolant and 200f on the oil temperature but I need the climate set to full to get the car warm , it does blow hot air though so water is going through the matrix

I dont think there is a mechanical issue but an issue with the valve that controls flow though the heater matrix.

The car last had a coolant change about 2 years ago , but its been getting worse for a while , its certainly not air in the system , its a 2012 touring with 34k on it

Earlier Nissans have a built in diagnostic mode but I'm guessing the z doesnt ?

I've read the code with an obd reader and its all clear

Any ideas or do I need to take it to a dealer for a consult check ?

If nobody comes up with anything soon, I'd check the FSM (link in my sig) for troubleshooting procedures.

I did check the manual before posting but that just referred to a diagnostic check using consult , hoping there is something I could do myself first

you know what sir, i have opposite problem. so a month ago before i left my car to abody shop. i dont have problems with my AC heater or cold. but right now, if i rotate the knob to anything below 75 degrees the air that is coming is still warm. before anything below 75 i can immediately feel the ac getting colder. when i rotate all the way up to 60 the cool air started working but if i increase to 60 and above the cool is getting warmer.

went to nissan and said everythign is perfect. ac line has no leak, freon is full etc.. he said that it might be because the freezing weather blah blah blah but hey i know my car and anything below 75 , the air is cold. weird... hope anyong can help too.
