Loud Noise When Pressing Trunck Lid Opener Switch

So I just had a spoiler installed yesterday, and I'm afraid that some part of the trunk lock hardware may have been damaged. Every time I press the Trunk Lid

Every time I press the Trunk Lid Opener Switch, I hear an unusually loud noise, one that did not happen before the installation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
