rear hatch

Here's another discussion about it:
Stuck hatch...

The penny trick worked for me. Just look for the two blacks things coming down from the hatch on either side when it's open. You'll twist the rubber off then add two pennies into the bottom of the rubber piece and reattach the rubber to the hatch. It's not the spring in the release mechanism that's the issue.
