How difficult was it/would it be to apply this Rvinyl film to our Z tail lights? It seems to me that the shape of our tail lights would be hard

How difficult was it/would it be to apply this Rvinyl film to our Z tail lights?
It seems to me that the shape of our tail lights would be hard to cover with a film. Could some one who has done it care to comment? Thanks.

2014 Roadster - pearl white with frost leather and black top. Hood struts, tinted glass, HR spacers (20mm front/25mm back), blacked emblems, blue LED lights.
