I had trouble with my hood a few weeks ago. On the hood cable, there are two little plastic knobby things that engage with the latches. One of those little knobs broke and I couldn't open that side. You're probably going to have to replace the cable because of one sharty little plastic piece.

Found the issue. The hood cabel is broken on the drviers side

Did you ever figure this out? I just got my Nismo back from the dealership and I’m having this issue now 😂

7 years later, legend has that the phantom hood issue continues to evade.
