Ok I filed with my insurance. They're going to cover everything with a $250 uninsured motorist deductible instead of the $1000 collision deductible, provide a rental car and gas and a lifetime warranty on repairs since it's one of their prequalified repair shops.

They'll try to recoup from the fat kid and if they do (I told them I'd hold my breath) they'll refund my deductible.

Then I can have my new hood painted and installed...
