They'd be different alright, cause you would have to put them in upside down in order to use them on a North American Z.

I do have a odd question how does the weather techs feel on bare feet?

I drive in bare feet a lot and like the weathertechs fine. The carpet ends up chafing my heels actually. When the mats first get shipped they do have a greasy coating on them which is very slippery at first but it wears off quickly. Hit it with some Meguiars interior spray and it's back to slick and glossy if you want.

You are welcome to drive to NC and step on my floor mats in bare feet if you would like.

I am assuming they should hold up the best and not tear like the carpet around the rings. I do have a odd question how does the weather techs feel on bare feet?

Strangely enough, I know the answer to this question. If they are clean they feel good, pretty much like you'd expect a medium hardness rubber/plastic to feel. If they are dirty then you feel all the grit on the bottom of your feet (i.e. the dirt/debris has no place to hide). The good part is, if you need 'em clean, you can just pull it out and give it a couple of good shakes and you are back to good.

If you are thinking about the moment when you come off the beach or something like that, then I'd say the peace of mind you'll get from knowing that sand isn't working it's way down in to the fibers of your mats and more importantly the carpet underneath will outweigh any concern for the fact that you have a little sand stuck to the bottom of your foot.
