Not totally sure. Kept everything loose, and tightened gradually. The right one sticks out *slightly* more than than the left. And the left is slightly closer to the bumper. But it's good, though.

I just got off the phone with Ark....they are looking for a test fitter to try the prototype out. If it passes, then approximately 2 months before they are available for sale.

Dont quote me on that, but this is just what I was told.

Sweet. I wouldn't mind taking my Berks off to have them dyno'd

Love the look and sound of this exhaust. Plan to get one soon. But I have a question for those of you who are having uneven fitment. What exactly is the cause of this?

Having more than one set of hands helps. A lift helps even more. And tightening everything down from the back towards the HFC/Cat also helps.

Just ordered mine. :happydance:

Gah...and now I'm getting pretty consistent rattling at low RPMs and initial start-up. Plan to jack it up again and look to re-tighten everything (push up the section as suggested, etc), but it seems hard to believe that first section isn't going to hit the cross brace.

Kiiinda frustrated.

Installed today! Fast shipping/excellent packaging. Fitment wasn't the easiest though. Very happy with the sound and look!

It doesn't look even. But ydg27g looks even. Are they two different batches or something?

mantella87 03-04-2012 07:17 AM

Mine is pretty even, here is a different angle:

That being said, not every exhaust will have identical fitment.

what is the size on exhaust tip??

Here is a really tame video, I know it's weak, so I'll make better clips soon. Like most sound clips, this does the system little to no justice: ARK Exhaust
