Just went to dealer and it doesn't not cover under powertrain warranty and my basic warranty expired on 08/22/2014...

I was gonna call Nissan corp and open up a ticket to claim that it should be cover under warranty for grace period but not worth it to spend me time to go through the process for crappy OEM bushing.

I have one more question. Bushing is just piece of rubber and how cracked rubber leaks something? What exactly it's leaking?

It's rubber filled with a fluid to dampen vibrations.

40k miles later and my OEM replacement is holding up fine. I really think our car was built with some questionable parts on the assembly line.

Mine was good until 60k, it will fail again.
