No more lag as in the OEM one, but there is tuning to be done in the line pressure and torque table, so will report back once the car is tuned.

Sounds good already. I only went with a valve body upgrade after hearing of the garbage stage 4 trans gtm put out. Thinking there was no hope for the 7at. Hope everything goes good.

I have a stage 4 GTM.
It works great.
Shifts way quicker than a stock unit.
the improvement in the 4th to 5th shift time is a big improvement .
But remember its built for a 650 hp motor. and tuned for one.
It may not work on a stock engine,

Level 10 really came through for you, jotting them down for my future buy list after TT.

Update? Does it hold the torque? Engagement like oem or bang like hammer on each shift? Anymore rpm flare esp 2 to 3 and 4 to 5. Can you full throttle 5 now without worry?

Did you have to do a custom ecu flash to get the new tranny paired up?

Z eliminator 11-17-2014 08:23 AM

Did you get the built transmission installed in your car ?

How does the 4th to 5th gear change feel?

gbrettin 11-28-2014 01:29 PM

Did they, level 10, say not to roll onto the power in 6th/7th?

DavidZ370 11-28-2014 01:47 PM

WOW, amazing car, tranny looks very well built indeed

Just like OEM, but so much better, no jerkiness.

Nope, the gearbox can withstand 1000bhp, with proper Torque Management parameters adjustments, that's not something to worry about anymore :)

gbrettin 11-29-2014 06:00 PM

Yup... I'm getting one!

octet 11-29-2014 06:02 PM

Call Dave @ Level 10, tell him Adrian recommended you :) He's a very, very nice and knowledgeable guy!

Can the next guy who calls in ask about the flex plate? People break them under stock power

Jordo! 11-29-2014 07:58 PM

Wow -- that is a very nice torque curve indeed. Congrats!
