Heat Venting

Probably because constantly running recirc causes the Z AC system to stink.

Do you mean they would stink as in "smell bad", or stink like they would perform poorly?

Smell bad, common problem with the Z.

That is a common problem with any car if you run recirculate and shut the car down with it still in that mode.
