Anyone ran 75w90 for tranny oil?

So I'm about to change diff and trans oil within a few days.. Read that everyone likes redline for trans but has anyone just used 75w90 for it? Was hoping

Read that everyone likes redline for trans but has anyone just used 75w90 for it? Was hoping to pick up what I need locally.. Which I'm assuming isn't redline anything. I saw that gl5 is bad for the synchros so just trying to figure out exactly what to get. Car has 30k, and I bought it with 25 and thought it shifted rough since then.
