4.08 FD difference?

The 4.08's help with the 1/4 mile time but it takes some adjustments to really get the most out of it. Launching was slightly different and took a few passes to find the right sweet spot again. I can't really say exactly how much ET and trap speed was attributed to the gears because of the different mods I've done. But I'll say this much:

stock (on a really good night): 13.1 @ 105 mph w/ 1.89 60ft
4.08's + a few bolt-on's (on a warm night) = 12.8 @ 109 mph w/ 1.92 60ft

With that said, I like the 4.08's more for street driving than for 1/4 mile racing. The really wake up the car, makes it way more fun to run through the gears.
