After talking, this is the direction I have decided to take

CNC "billet" top plate with hose bunge and other items required for this coolant tank

It will be welded around the side perimeter so that the weld is "hidden" for the most part.

The remainder will be .1" thick waterjet cut, then cnc press brake bent and the seams will be welded.

Custom cap possibly, bungs will be welded or machined for all hose connections, no welded tubes that can break off.

Anything for us '12, '13, & '14 owners with the pressurized tank? I love the discrete OEM look for sure.

i also say intake manifolds FTW

id like something metal and something that works with the factory cover
why swap manifolds if im just gonna cover it? because direct port nitrous injection and it will be stealthy

If i design a clutch master cylinder for our 370z using inventor will you be able to manufacture? As of top of my head you will have to manufacture minimum 3 items ie. Housing that must have threads, compression piston and a rod all in about the size of 6in or less how much would it cost me?

We are waiting for the press brake to be delivered.

I feel the best route would be to make 1 tank that comes with a presurized tank. That means no open vented tank like the one I have in my hands currently. The dimensions should be the same with the exception of the location of the cap and hose connections.

Sure can! The hamburger style logo is also in the works, just taking things one at a time.

Yep we can do this. Are you looking to sell them yourself or did you want to shoot over the prints and have us sell them?

Here's my question. WHY is the tank pressurized? Why can't you use a non pressurized tank?

AzSpeng 12-15-2013 10:41 PM

not entirely sure without doing some testing or really digging into the physics of it...in this case it's easier to just make a pressure tank for both models.

Yeah, but you'd have to make pressurized caps or everyone would need to get OEM pressurized caps, up to!

AzSpeng 12-15-2013 10:49 PM

Or I can just buy them im bulk ;)

AzSpeng 12-16-2013 12:05 AM

What year Z? Would you be interested in leaving your car for a few days once we have the waterjet/cnc press brake delivered?

2010! Id most likely be able to. Feel free to PM me anything.

YzGyz 12-16-2013 12:16 AM

I want a new gas pedal. Something that feels solid, is 1/2 closer to the dirver so I can heal toe to higher revs for lower gears and a lot more vertical. Heck, even a adjustable pedal would be nice. That way, people can adjust it to there preference.

No offense meant towards you at all, Just too many "projects" here and abroad that never become successful. Best of luck to you on your business projects. Likewise if you need someone to make the parts for you I'm all for it.

Dude, I get what you're saying in general. But Phunk has done a LOT for this community. He's designed and brought to market several parts no one else has been able to make. He's the vendor you need to try to be like, not the guy you take shots at. To date you have produced nothing. I hope you succeed here. I'd buy some of the stuff you've talked about making. But don't get carried away. Not one person here is running something you've made yet.

AzSpeng 12-16-2013 11:55 AM

You guys are taking it the wrong way.

My post wasnt directed at anyone except the folks not getting it done.

No offense was to be made, I apologize if it came off the wrong way.

Its all good. I post about stuff only if I am actually working on it. Some things take longer than others as priorities get moved around. But I am not much into posting teasers or etc. I have a board on the wall with an entire list of things I intend to build. If members here know about it, that pretty much means it is happening! If something comes up and I have to throw out a project, I would make it known.

AzSpeng 12-16-2013 12:12 PM

I've seen your posts around the forum and it's my bad for not being more clear in my post.

We also have a big board filled with ideas and pending projects. Without that things get out of control fast!

If you come into an engineering problem dont hesitate to shoot me a pm.

Yeah, there's a LOT of vendors you were 1000% correct about (coughGTMGTRManifoldcough), but Phunk's one of the good ones.

phunk 12-16-2013 12:18 PM

Its never engineering problems I have, its manufacturing problems! You have to do everything yourself if you want it done within 3 years. Looks like you might have already noticed that.

Phunk and AZSPENG both are good so far... Granted I'm working with AZ on the part, kinda, but how can you complain about a guy giving you constant updates? Lol
And when I get my overflow tank, I will tear it a new ásshole... I doubt you can ruin an overflow tank; but I'll give the best reviewing can.
AND Chuck can't complain because it's made in the most redneck state in the union!

I think AZ can help with that too! Lol
I'd love to see his shop 100% done and running
