I just finished installing my oil cooler, but I'm a little concerned about the way I routed everything. Instead of mounting the cooler with both ports up, where flow won't matter, I had to mount it sideways (vertically vs. horizontally) with both ports pointing left due to space restrictions. My question is, on the Mocal sandwich plate, which fitting is flow "OUT" and flow "IN"? It's not marked and I think I may have switched the ports so that it flows against gravity.
![]() I've noticed some reduced oil temps, but at the same time it's been getting up to the 200-220 range on the street/highway fairly quickly given I am running a 25-row cooler. Last edited by SE; 06-06-2010 at 03:16 AM. |
