Default Idle sucks after bolt on mods...

A little background, put on a CNT catback, no issues with that. Last week installed ARC HFC's, drove around 30 miles and SES light comes on, pull codes and it's the O2 sensors, order a set of 02 simulators and install, at the same time yesterday installed my R2C air intake setup.

Drove about 30 miles no issues, leave work around 11:30 pm and temp is about 60 degrees, coming down a slight hill, SES light comes back on. Come to a stop at an intersection idle is around 1200 and is fluctuating between that and 2000 rpms. Rest of the ride home at every stop, idle continues to fluctuate and car just doesn't "sound" right.

Haven't had a chance to pull codes yet, figure it's the O2 sensors again, but the idle issue - do I have to have the car "relearn" it's idle characteristics?

Any help appreciated or lead to a post where this might be addressed would be nice..

Once you know the code we can assist, but the high idle suggests a vac leak somewhere either before or just past the primary O2's.

I'd double check the install again. A vacuum leak or exhaust leak could be your issue.

Won't be able to check things out till tomorrow morning, too tired last night and had to be at work at 8 this morning along with heading to the 2nd job directly after, don't see myself getting home till 11:30pm again tonight. Whatever it was I felt when I was coasting down the hill when the SES light came on.

Thanks guys for the quick responses..
