yeah i figured...actually it does state this too in the owners manual in chapter 8 section 9 after i got curious yesterday. one thing i did note from the owners manual is that it says if the oil level is above the high mark at all that the engine has been overfilled with oil, luckily that has never happened to me lol.

On an engine that burns hot, it is advisable to have the oil at the high mark rather than halfway down or less. More oil = cooler oil.
