Switching from nissan ester oil to penzoil ultra I noticed quieter overall engine operation, especially at idle. Might want to try a synthetic oil on your next change.
Your second noise just sounds like exhaust ticking after car is shut off. Some do it more than others. Do you hear a high pitch whine noise at 2-3K rpm regardless of gear? Sounds alot like a supercharger whine. This has been driving me nuts, but is common and normal on the vq37's. |
