Nah pretty much everything, drysump, pullies, mounts and drivetrain, everything attached to the heads is custom, the big jun cams, milled the deck a little, e85, ac delete, maybe some more stuff. I made 335whp with a drysump, cat back, pullies, and RTP's

Damn! And we're supposed to sit back and believe Z1 at 350hp with e85, so porting and special sauce? :icon14:

If they did i can't WAIT to get the e85 in her.

What would be the labor cost to covert to e85?

Chuck33079 10-04-2014 08:23 AM

You'd be paying to swap injectors and possibly the pump. Not a huge issue. Then you need the tune, and that's going to depend on how much your tuner charges and whether you already have the Uprev license. All in would be at least $1500 parts and labor if I had to guess.

On a stock NA car, I'd buy a used intake, cat back and HFCs or test pipes and get tuned for that same $1500 or so. Then I'd start thinking about e85. It's not the first place I'd go for power. It would be something I did after I already ran out of other NA mods.

I'm thinking of getting an exhaust for now.

What is a uprev license for?

My car is assembled tune was roughed in and it made a modest 350hp and 297 ftlbs. Will get the sheets and details up when i get the tunes finalized.

Edit: #midrange beast

You should be able to run more aggressive timing with E85 right? And that should net some sort of gain........I would hope.

bleunetizen 10-05-2014 05:57 PM

I would guess so.. but I could not get the timing to go higher than 31deg in the top end, tried VHR timing, adjusting knock threshold etc, wonder switching to E85 will break that barrier. Uprev does not seem to have figured out how to control the timing like conventional ecu's..

Wow Sweet Gains! :0

Tune really needs to be dialed in was looking at the afr and it was lets say a REALLY rough tune. All kinds of rich. Shout out to Seb want to throw me a deal on a tune?

Asheth 10-06-2014 07:54 PM

This is interesting slow370 is laying the ground work. 350 rwhp is good on a conservative tune looking forward to more results
