I think bigger is better for a few reasons given the same size passages, same bypass valve rating, and same filter media. 1. Less pressure drop so less time bypassing 2. More oil volume 3. More filter media None of these are really that big of an issue for street driving with normal oil change intervals however. If you are looking for a filter to use on the track a lot and on the street that is where things get much more complicated. |
