ive not seen my oil temp go up that high. 225F is about where i max out even with spirited driving. but my area only goes up to about 95F max..

Please tell me that's because you have an oil cooler installed. Because mine goes up to 260 on a couple choice backroads here in 80 degree weather and it's reached 270 on the Tail of the Dragon.
