I originally thought the noise was the throw-out bearing, so i was not too concerned. The dealer says the transmission needs to be replaced. I have never had problems shifting,

I originally thought the noise was the throw-out bearing, so i was not too concerned. The dealer says the transmission needs to be replaced. I have never had problems shifting, so this really surprises me.
