Default Power cuts at 3,500rpm in all gEars

I was coming around a turn pretty hard and the traction control took over pretty hard. Then after when I tried to get on it, the car would cut the fuel at around 3,500 rpm regardless of what gear I was in.
I pulled over , shut off the car and still had the same problem.
I tried turning off the car a second time and it didn't seem to cut off but I didnt really push it hard. I'm at work so I can't go and test drive it but I wanted to see if anyone's experienced this. It was like traction control stopping power or something.

Thanks !!!!!

See if you can pull up ECU code. Sounds like limp mode.

It sounds to me that it's just the VDC taking over to control the car through turning. Did you try it with the VDC off?

Is the hand-brake down all the way? if its raised slightly the sensor will think its engaged and limit your RPM.

I had the same thing happen to me at the track on a hard turn and it put me in a half spin that I saved. But I had to limp mode it back to pit road. Shut the car off and restarted. It was fine after that. VDC was off when all this went down. It was as if the the rear tires just barely locked up for a instant. Even my insrtuctor at the time defiantly agreed it was mechanical. It wasn't even a hard lap. I was just warming up the tires.

I know it sounds crazy and it is. But it defiantly happened. I wonder about the EBD on our cars
