Key indicator light is on and car won't start

The same thing happened to my 2010 Z at Walmart this afternoon. Extra key didn't work so called the dealer and having it towed in morning. Not too excited about

Extra key didn't work so called the dealer and having it towed in morning. Not too excited about leaving it in lot overnight but no other choice. It only has 7200 miles on it so hope this doesn't become a problem or it will be sold.
