Being your temps are 26C (about 78F) as a low you can defintly remove them. I have lows of 40F average in the winter with no problems after removing these lines.

Yes they do bring intake air temps up to operating temp quicker to help with emissions. But it does not help bring more air into the motor. It will be cooler but it is very very minimal. Maybe 1/2-1 HP, maybe. Plus on another small scale you reduce some heat in the engine bay by removing these lines. I have done this along with several others. Here's a DIY on how to.

Also here's another article I did installing a water temp gauge that you can use by using the existing line from the passenger side that you can transfer to the driver side to feed the coolant from the feed to the return port. Just don't pay attention to the gauge sensor. Just the line I used. I trust this more than the caps you can buy.

Give reps where due please.

Thank you for your valuable advise and guidance. It was very much appreciated. BTW can you advise me on the Oil cooler? Is there any OEM oil cooler install on the 370z? I just can't find it anywhere on the car.
