The price difference between 95 and 100 is almost 10%.

What would happen if I use 95 octane?

The ECU will modulate for the given fuel type. No worries. I use 98 or 102 here in Germany. Drive on and have fun. You wont really notice a difference in performance. The recommended fuel gives you optimal performance. The car will still run ok with 95.

The knock sensor will detect the lower octane fuel and retard ignition timing (and possibly increase fuel a tad). While car will run/adjust, you will lose power and potentially a bit of MPG/KPL.

You have a high performance engine: the 10% fuel premium should not be financially strapping: if it is you got the wrong car.

Give the car the fuel it was designed to run with.

technically speaking a higher octane will not give you better performance unless you run a very aggressive ECU setting or engine is heavily modded (very high lift/ very long duration) and much higher compression ratios.

But then, you will need racegas, 100oct will definitely not be enough for such applications.
