car won't start after sitting!

I haven't driven my car for about 3 months, it's just been sitting in the garage. the battery is fine, it turns over, but the car won't start! I've never had an issue with the car before parking it. it sounds like it's going to catch but never does. any ideas? I am running a tune via a cobb accessport. do you think I should try and revert the map? is there any sort of security trigger which could have been tripped which is keeping it from starting?

weird, nevermind. I locked then unlocked the doors and then it started!

Maybe it just didn't recognize the key for a second while you started and did not allow it to fire, hopefully it won't give you any more issues!

I don't think that was it, because I've tried starting it for a couple days now. it showed the icon saying the key was there. seems like maybe it just got confused somehow.

The door thing could have been a coincidence too. 3 months is a long time to go without a start, could have just needed to prime itself a bit on fuel or something.

I don't think so, I was trying to start it for 2 days. I could smell fuel from trying to start it so much over the past 2 days.

Maybe she just wasn't in the mood to be turned on... And she was secreting fluids... :ugh2:

Maybe it was just that time of the last 3 months... :roflpuke2:

She needs sufficient foreplay to get her all fired up, can't skip that vital first step!

Little late now but you really shouldn't let the car sit that long... if it is a summer only vehicle you can at least fire it up every week or two for 5 minutes just to keep things moving.
