Add Synchro Rev?
Hi all,
My cousin was thinking of getting Mazda 3 but ever since he tested drive my 370z, all he wants to do now is to get the z. I've told him to get the sports package instead with Synchro rev, but he's under a tight budget. I wonder if you could install this feature seperately in the future? If can, anybody know how much does this cost? Thanks all |

seriously would be a pain in the *** it add it on... reprogrammed ECU and all... just cough up the $$ for the package the wheels and brakes make it well worth it. Do a search there should be a few threads talking about the potential swap.

You'll need to buy the expensive trans with all the sensors and flash the ECU with a stock flash. I'd recommend saving the extra 3K. The 3K really isn't that much to save in the long term of things and it still comes with so much more stuff that really is good, (bigger wheels, tires, brakes, the trans, etc).
It's worth it. I think you're going to spend a lot of money on the install alone.

True that... VERY much worth it. That's, what, maybe 2-3 months worth of saving if you REALLY budget yourself?

well i dont know about you guys but i dont spend very much time racing my car on circuit tracks so, if i ever find myself in the occasion that i would use synchro revmatch. im perfectly fine with heel-toeing it like everybody that doesnt have a 370Z. especially if it means i dont have to spend an extra 3K. since im gonna get different rims anyway. and aftermarket brakes are always better

I agree. Remove the brakes, wheels, and LSD for a new aftermarket stuff and you've got quite a bit of stuff to sell on eBay for good money. Or you can hold onto that stuff to put back on the car for resale. But I'll bet that you'll make at least $2000 back on selling that stuff.
