Wideband AFR

Running a wideband sensor do you run one for each cylinder bank or just the one on one bank? If running just one doesn't that kind of kill the purpose

Running a wideband sensor do you run one for each cylinder bank or just the one on one bank? If running just one doesn't that kind of kill the purpose of the sensor in the first place?

Sorry for the very basic question, I wasn't able to find anything hitting on this doing a quick search.
