Weighted Shift knob
3 Attachment(s)
I bought a TWM weighted shift knob from Canada, it's made a huge difference in shifting quality. This thing weighs 1.32 pounds! :icon17: and is a bit shorter then the stock set up. I was running the Nismo one previously, which IMO is way too light, I use to mis-shift 1st to 2nd b/c of the effort it took to move it. Now I have no problems. I will upgrade to a short throw shifter later on, but I'm pretty satisfied for now. This would be a great edition to a short throw shifter. The model I got was the Desert Eagle & the color Is gun blue finish, which is actually more of a satin black.

Damn, wish they had some that were leather wrapped.

I see you also had issues removing the stock knob. That thing is on way too tight.

I'm going to be the first member here to get it off with my bare hands.
Sounds inappropriate, but I'm serious. |

Holy craap! The TWM unit is $100? for a 9 oz piece of steel?
The weighted Greddy unit in black chrome with 3 different colored shift gates inserts is like $42. I like the TWM piston design, but the price is wrong. |
