Happens on mine too. My shifter squeaks going in and out of 5th. Also at higher rpm (about 4k and above) the shifter rattles like its going to fall apart.

Happens on mine too. My shifter squeaks going in and out of 5th. Also at higher rpm (about 4k and above) the shifter rattles like its going to fall apart. I don't beat the crap out of my car or anything, I think it's just a bad shifter linkage on some of the Z's.
I'm going to drop it off at the dealer and have them replace it under warranty when I get the time. |
