Default B&M Short Shifter/ rough engagement???

hey guys, i rescently installed a the B&M Short Shifter and im having issues with the engagement of the gears... its not that it won't engage... its that its really rough to get them in gear, especially 5th and 6th gear... anyone have similar issues??

It's normal to require more force to change gears after a short shifter install (less lever arm means more force required). You shouldn't have problems keeping it in gear or grinding though.

i don't have those problems... just seems hard to engage... when i had the shifter in my other cars it was very smooth, just seems odd... maybe more lube?
