Bigger displacement could equal bigger problems or issues. Especially if you run high boost. You could have head lift issues along with coolant leak issues from what I've seen. These issues might have been solved by now. Not that there were many issues. I just remember a couple on some 350z that where running big stroker and high boost.

OP - enjoy it for what it is first. You said your dad won't buy u another car until you're 21. Since this is your first car, just drive it as it is. You have no idea what its like to build that big and its downtime. Make your own money, then say "I don't have any price limit".

Hmm sounds to me like you should feel it out stock to see what you think it needs... if money is no budget for you and you are for some reason stuck with said 370 - go balls out and have GTM build you a car - If you wanted to mod it yourself - start small and get to know the ins and outs of the car before you go crazy on it... and most of all - post pics

talk about spoiled, has a 370 out of highschool that he didn't pay for and isn't satisfied. wow, people amaze me.

weiboy718 02-13-2011 08:21 PM

Damn rich kids!

henry0844 02-13-2011 08:42 PM

don't care about rich, money does not equal happiness as evidenced by this person. has a 370 and I still not happy with it. American attitude at it's best. no offense to y'all but people need to get back to reality.

Look, man, I understand the feeling of power, but I'm 18 years and I have a 370Z. You contradicted yourself. If you were totally satisfied, you would drive it as is. Do yourself a favor and actually own the car and get a stable job.

My Z is more than enough to handle.

Mjthind 02-14-2011 12:41 AM

I know how to handle power I used to drive my bros 06 m5 and that is 500 hp I started driving at the end of sophomore year and that was the first car i drove. I drove it till the middle of senior year. the only reason bought the Z was it has a lot parts on the market and wanted to be able to do somthin to it unlike my bros m5 he has to keep totally stock cuz their no turbo kits for it and only thing you can do is put a body kit in it and have nice set of rims.
